These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CodeVerify's services, including our website, APIs, delivery systems, and any other services we provide (collectively, the "Service"). By using CodeVerify, you agree to these Terms.

  • 1. Description of Service:

    CodeVerify provides a secure delivery system for one-time passwords (OTPs) used in two-factor authentication (2FA). When you request an OTP through a third-party service (such as a social media platform, website, or application), CodeVerify may facilitate the delivery of that OTP via SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, Viber, email, or other communication channels, as applicable.

    We are not affiliated with or responsible for the third-party services that request OTP delivery through our platform.

  • 2. User Responsibilities

    You agree to:

    • Use the Service only for lawful purposes,
    • Not interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to it,
    • Not use the Service to send unauthorized, fraudulent, or malicious OTP requests,
    • Ensure any data you provide is accurate and current.

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your devices and phone numbers. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of the Service.

  • 3. Prohibited Activities

    You agree not to:

    • Use CodeVerify to spam or phish others,
    • Use automated scripts or bots to abuse the system
    • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code,
    • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • 4. Privacy

    Your privacy is important to us. We only collect and use your data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your information as outlined therein.

  • 5. Service Availability and Modifications

    CodeVerify may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without liability. We strive to maintain uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

  • 6. Third-Party Services

    CodeVerify is not responsible for the actions, policies, or failures of third-party services (e.g., Facebook, Google, banking sites) that initiate OTP requests via our Service. We only facilitate delivery and have no control over account access or authentication decisions made by those third parties.

  • 7. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeVerify, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

    • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages,
    • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill,
    • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
  • 8. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CodeVerify and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service.

    We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice or liability, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

  • 10. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action shall be brought in the federal courts of the State of Delaware.

    We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice or liability, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
